I am 58 years old and I gave up my manager position in 2020. Until then, I had managed a team of 45 people spread across 22 countries for the last 20 years. My last task was to build up the Japanese market from scratch, which I did over two years. Today, Japan is an established market in my former company. Above all, my management philosophy focused on people, which was greatly appreciated by my employees. I am still in contact with many ex-employees today and coach them on their future path.
