My name is Thomas and I live in Basel.
First and foremost, I feel like a human being.
After training as a drawing teacher at what was then the School of Applied Arts in Zurich, I turned to fine art. I painted pictures, exhibited them and sold them.
I also worked in a wide variety of professions.
I learned the craft and technique of stage painting and the design of sculptural objects for the theater stage in the painting room of the Schauspielhaus. I was also called in to decorate sets for film productions.
As a graphic artist, I designed hand-painted advertising posters in the form of a village or community chronicle.
For 7 years I was the in-house graphic designer of the summer music festival "flimsfestival.ch".
I also have a wide range of experience from jobs outside the industry. I have also worked as a driver, salesman and cook.
I am familiar with working with computers, especially with Photoshop and InDesign.
